I guess your strict policies against sensationalism don't preclude linking to Jason Mick articles over on DailyTech, eh? ;)

    Give them time.

Now that they have Pipeline, they have a pretty good excuse to get rid the site of Dailytech. Of course, you won't see them admit that, but I bet it's in talks.

I've seen it mentioned a few times that dailytech is AT's sister site, so it's probably not all that easy for them to just stop linking to them. DailyTech has really gotten bad over the last couple years, heres hoping they can pull it around and fix their stuff.

On topic, the pipeline is awesome! The IDF coverage here has kept me busy enough that I haven't bothered to go to any other site since it started. But the real test isn't IDF though, CES2012 should be interesting :D

The DT links are below Pipeline and are not part of Pipeline, so Jason Mick's articles -- and any other articles at DT -- are completely separate from our editorial staff.

C'mon, we know you want to.

"We have strict policies against sensationalism, link baiting and rumor mongering - we have no desire to contribute to the "we heard Apple is working on a new shoe!" noise on the web today,"

HA, just as I got tired of Jason Mick, I started to enjoy him again with his disclaimers about being editorial.

Btw, think that sentence should end with a "."; need to make sure you keep that up :)

I think your last sentence should end with a period.
  • sprockkets - Saturday, September 17, 2011 - link

I left it out since :). looks weird to me.

    Maybe:

...make sure you keep that up. :)

Ok posting that seemed to delete the 6 spaces after the period.

    Bugger. :)

I had always assumed the facebook page would be spitting out all the dailytech......ummm....."Stuff" .........Now that I know it's Anandtech articles and pipeline only, it's time to "like" the AT page.
  • douglaswilliams - Friday, September 16, 2011 - link

A couple weeks ago I first noticed the Pipeline and that I was interested in reading almost every single article in it. I desperately started thinking "how many years have I been reading AnandTech and I never saw this?! How many valuable stories have I missed?!"

It's good to know I haven't missed out.

    Thanks Anand.

This could be a stupid question (if all the rumors are true and its a mess), but why was there 0 news on SB-E..a chip coming out in a few short months..

Doesn't intel always show off the most upcoming chip at the fall idf? Or was SB-E (patsburg really) really that much of a mess to where they're not talking about it..?

    There was one:

I don't follow SNB-E stuff, so I don't know if it has any new info though.

I'm really looking forward to your Ivy Bridge article. Keep up the good work.

    Anand:

Is very important to add a subtitle under the title "pipeline", giving a clue about his purpose. Otherwise most people will not get it.

Makes no sense to me why you don't just have everything on the front-page.
I only realised the other day for the "1st time"...
That you've been posting far more stories than I ever realised.*

And those lesser stories (i.e. not full reviews) were still all very interesting!
You're mad not letting people know about them on the front-page.
I'll never remember/bother to pop into Pipeline... "keep it simple stupid"!

Seriously, re-think Pipeline, it makes no sense...

*I just thought you guys were "very" slow compared to Ars, Engadget etc. wrt timely (albeit light on technical/detail) news.
