First time visitor to AnandTech here....and read a great deal. I am looking to buy a laptop which I can use for cad and 3d applications (3d max etc.)....the voodoo M855 has caught ma attention and I was quite impressed by the specs. However your articles here cautions against certain things. Namely the 9600 pro needing 128 mb ram to function properly and that Voodoo hasnt mastered that yet. Something about the powernow bit as well which is still to be figured out by voodoo. Should I buy it? Will a 64 bit laptop add to the performance of 3d max?
